BTW OP, I have a good used low-mileage Yank TRT2600 converter for a 4l60E if you are interested. Cheap, cheap.

I have a 3200 yank in my daily driver and i find it annoying as well. i would keep the stall around 2600 and nothing less than a 258mm diameter. As for the cam, i agree with what has been recommended so far.

I drive about 100 miles per day also and I get between 20-24 mpg I can stand to lose some but I dont want to lose alot... A 2600 stall sounds like it would be my best bet. But as far as cams go I would want something that sounded good and had a good kick too it.

So as of now I guess a 2600 stall so what kind of cam would best fit this and what brands do yall recommend? If I know brands and exactly what to look for I will get on youtube and watch some videos and do alot of research.

Thanks again guys.

For that stall id go with the already suggested 212/218 cam. This cam will keep your lowend torque. If you start getting into the 22x cams you'll need a 3000 stall or more

If you do alot of highway driving the converter will be locked and you will not take as big of a hit in the MPG. I drive 90% city and avg 10.5-11MPG. But I only drive about 100 miles a week.

I dont really do alot of just stop-n-go, I have to drive thru my small town maybe make 2-3 small red light/stop sign stops then im straight highway rest of the time until I come into the town where I work I have to stop just once. So that wont be too big of a deal just dont want to destroy my MPG but alittle bit of a hit wont hurt if the power backs it up...

I was annoyed by my 278mm 3200 converter for about the first 20 miles. Now its all smiles everytime I turn the key.

I do stop and go traffic every day to and from work with my 3200 and dont find it annoying at all. I used to DD with a 4000 in my car and that didnt bother me at all either.
I want a 3600 for my truck as soon as I scrap up some flow
personal preferance I guess
