The more posts I read about the erl super decks it seems like a standard aluminum block would have some issues at my power level. I think it would live forever with 6-700, but I think really working it could lead to issues down the road from cylinder flex and main bearing wear. This seems to be what ERL addressed with tresses and a girdle. The girdle is 500 bucks so at that I should have just went iron block.
I'm currently leaning toward a iron block and selling this one.

ERL is good, if he said it i believe it, ive talked to 3 builders, i was wanting to build a big bore NA solid roller for next year. after i have fun with the 408 or at lease accomplish what im out to set with it as my goal of just a 10 sec NA pass with a hydraulic roller . anyway i want to spray the same amount ( 400 ) on a aluminum block they told me i wouldnt beable to spray over 200-250 regardless if the tune was spot on or not. stock48 is right look for the block he mentioned, but also remember its just like your 4.8 youll still be on the edge even with a 5.3 and worse with an aluminum block.
dont put yourself in the situation of maybe having to do it twice, build the short block to your liking and have fun with it.

I have seen your red truck on youtube. Very sweet truck man jealous haha
I'm no expert on boost except what I learn from yall on the form. I like your idea of weight reduction. Would lowering compression to 9.1 help relieve stress on the block with your boost levels?

I'm sure I can make that happen for you if you are interested on doing that.

Any reason you don't just buy a 6.0 and putting forged rods and pistons in it? Throw you cam and studs in it and go? My brother has a 6.0, vs my 4.8 its a beast! He's got a 216 220 cam and it rips Damm hard to 6500 were he shifts it, I think your turbo would flow it just fine.
