I have also jumped on the l92 band wagon. I ordered my set from TSP and hopefully I will have them by middle of next month. I will be using a Becks intake though. It should rock

Richard, are the valve lengths different from the LSx gen III engines?

The factory stock L92 valves are the same length as the 6.0l and LS1/LS6 engine family. Our aftermarket valves will probably be a bit longer to accommodate the higher lift cams. I don't have an exact length worked out just yet, but it will probably be in the +.100" area. We're definitely going to have a longer tip length on these valves to reduce the possibility of rocker arm/retainer contact.

Hope this helps.

Richard

Other than the corresponding Intake manifold, is there anything else you would need to utilize the L92 heads on a stock LQ4 shortblock?

366 hp and 380 torque 6.0 L76 to 345 hp & 375 Torque Lq9 - It is a 21 hp increase and 5 lbs of torque - $ 1000 - is it worth it? I wonder if the heads are making this or the intake?
