since the L92's have a weaker deck I was wondering what kind of power some of you are making with them? I'm considering going with Milled L92's 030 with a -16 Piston on my 408 which should be around 10.1 CR N/A and then if I go F/I later I'd put non milled back on which should drop me back down to 9.6.

If they can't handle a whole lot of power I may need to move to an LS9 head after the fact and they cost a bit more. Want to figure this out before I order my rotating assembly because I need to make sure I have a Valve Relief that is just right to do what I wana do.

 

There is a TT TBSS making well over 1000 to the ground with them...

 

good to know. Do you know if he machined the block for bigger head bolts?

 

He is running the L92 block also but Im not sure on the head studs. He posts as DBTBSS on here or purpleminivan on ls1truck

 

hmm.. Looks like he hasn't been online in a few months. I'll see if I can find out if the L92 block has different bolts but I doubt it.
