Ever see my truck in action?

You have got to be kidding me with that statement. Do you even know how a camshaft works?

Probably the most intelligent thing you've said all night.
I've been around the block a time or two

Im not going to get into a pissing match with you but you are welcome to search some of my old motor build threads, and ask anyone on here how much work I've done for people.

WJ I can't view that link from my phone but Ill check it when I get home. For what you are talking about I believe a 224 duration cam will be perfect if he is really intending onwringing it out. That 224 cam will really come alive at 3500 rpms and up. I had a 222/224 on a 112 in my old z71 when I had a stock 5.3 and it really ran good in the higher rpms, it added a good 40-50hp up top.

The cam I'm running is a 222/224 on a 112. I'm more than happy with my torque below 3000rpm. I can pull up a hill with the converter locked in while in overdrive at 1500rpm. I've also sold and tuned for this cam in a friends L33 powered Silverado. With only a TB converter he had all the torque he needed to light the tires from a standstill off idle. He also off roads the truck including alot of sand hill running. With the truck weighing in at well over 5,000lbs (sometimes over 6k with friends in the truck) he could still stop in the middle of the hill and have enough torque to get it right back to 6k rpm and higher. He later went with more tire, 4.56 gear, and 3000 stall. Now he has a Radix. LOL.
