i have the mods in my sig. i want to do manifold (prob a vic jr.), edlebrock 5.3 stage 2 heads from WCCH, a cam (need help), and all the little stuff that goes with it. its a daily driver, but will be at the track as well. i want to make people cry. can you guys recommend some cams from different manufacturers. ill hit up richard at wcch also. thanks in advance.

 

vic jr. is waaaayyy overkill on a 5.3 IMO, an LS6 intake would be better suited for you.

richard is your best bet for a cam reccommendation but id say something around a 224/226 or something like that

 

Cams aside if you really want to make people cry you should start looking at forced induction.

 

ive decided for now to stay naturally aspirate because realistically i wont be able to afford forced ind. for a long time. and this is gonna be a DD for a while. in a few years id like to get a NNBS single cab and do a twin turbo setup to destroy everything, but for now i wanna see how far i can get without boost. but i will have 100 shot for the track.

 

IMO 228R from TSP, cant go wrong
