Default Iron LS1

Hello Im somewhat new. Ive been around for a long time off and on for several years but finally joined. Im wanting to build a turbod iron ls1. Im lookin for some forged pistons. I need to know the stock ls1 bore. Ive done some searching and I have come up with stock ls1 bore being 3.898 to 3.905? What can this block be bored the most to? Sorry to ask a question Im sure that has been beet to death but Im tired of searching. I know its here, Im sure Im just clicking on the wrong threads while doing a search.

It would be easier to just pick an LQ4 9:4.1 compression and turbo it. it would be cheaper.

For what I would like to do by having a forged motor it will be cheaper using my existing block instead of going and buying an lq4, then buy forged pistons and rods for it. Yes I know people have pushed stock motors pretty high. But I want something that I can rely on and not be a ticking time bomb. I want somethin to be just fine on 12-14 lbs of boost. Im also looking into gettin a set or 317 heads. Turbo wise Im thinking of a MP t-70

The most it can be bored to is 3.905. The standard LS1 bore is 3.898 however.

Mahle makes the best forged pistons imo.
