799 are the same as 243's they will perform just fine.

would I have to have the heads milled or anything, would I lose compression going to the 799 heads

whats the difference of the 823 heads and the 799 besides one being rectangular port and the other not

The whole design....you need at least a 4in bore for rectangular port heads

If I am not mistaken the 823 rectangle port is around 70cc the 799/243 are around 66cc you won't need to mill anything.

Flow is nearly identical.

so ill lose compression then wont I? I wanna use my 799 heads and my intake off my 4.8 on the ly6 and save to buy performance heads and intake what do you guys think? what do you think the ly6 will put down with those heads and a 224 cam ?
