Default injector size

I am about to install a cam and a milled set of heads on my truck and was going to see if the stock injectors will be big enough to fuel it up top, and if no what options do I have. I know 8.1L one are a direct replacement but I havenot found many of those. Also what do you have to do to use the taller style injectors?

your stock injectors will be just fine.
replacing the cam is not the same as setting up a nos system
or supercharger that require way more fuel.
all you need is a good tune.

I think southern_chevy's question has been answered so I hope I'm in the clear by going off-tangent a little bit. At what level of performance are the stock injectors off a 5.3L typically unsuited to supply the motor with fuel? For specific examples, will they be running out of juice on a 5.7L in the neighborhood of 370-380hp?

my idc is over %100 from 4500 on up to shift point. see mods in sig. you will need injectors. to use anything other then the 8.1 injectors you will have to change connectors and space the fuel rail up.

That's why I'm wondering if bolting in these 5.3L injectors that my motor started with is a bad idea. I don't plan on being at WOT very often except maybe on weekends to dig myself out of a mud pit or soggy trail and even then I don't let the needle ping off the red line.
