afr 205s are good but SBF means small block ford, not the kind of motor you have.

you need the LS1 AFR 205cc heads,

THe AFR's are impressive to say the least but unless you plan on FI then they will cost power by lowering the compression ratio with the larger combustion chambers.

trever1t ur totally right with compression ratio i need a chamber #s that will high my compression cuz im not using turbo and neither supercharge . so what chamber # u suggest to go for ???

Sorry man, but you have a 4.8 unless someone has swaped in a 5.3. The 8th digit in the VIN is V which is a 4.8 LR4 engine. Also, the only engines that come from the factory with a 5 speed is the 4.3 V6 and the 4.8 V8.
Since money isn't much of an issue i'd get a LQ9 or LQ4 6.0L and do the head and cam swap on it before you swap them out. Preferably look for a 2001+ 6.0 to keep from having issues with the longer tail on the cranks on the 1999-2000 models.

I am with turbo gibbs, regardless of the engine you have now, get the 6.0 lq9 or lq4. The cost to obtain the same numbers in a 4.8 or 5.3 is the same as starting with a 6.0 swap.
