Default I Need Valve Spring Suggestions

Max lift is right around 0.600" on EPS lobes.

The few suggested to me were the PAC 1518, Comp 26918 Beehive, and the Patriot Golds.

All are around the same price and have a max lift of 0.650". Max rpm will be around the 6400 mark, and I plan on getting new retainers, locks, seals, seats, etc. with the springs.

Also, what ID spring base would I need for 317 heads? I see 0.505" and 0.565" offered for most springs.

i have PAC 1218s and i like them so far but they are a little small for you (max lift .600") but the PAC 1518s will work for you (max lift .650")

i accidentally took my engine to 7300rpm the other day and didnt even float the valves

The PAC 1518's are the best out of all the springs mentioned above. period.

I've got pac 1518's, and I feel very safe with them under my covers, but they are really noisey compared to the ls6 springs I ran with my last cam.

I run 1218s with the same cam, they're fine. These springs have the same specs as comp 918s as far as pressures and such and that's what matters more so than max lift ratings. Coil bind isn't until .660". 1218s or 1518s works great. I spin to 6800 daily.

I'm using the all new LUNATI .660 lift dual valvespring kit for the LS valvetrain and comes drop in ready. They are nice springs and also quite.

BTW: I found them on ebay for $200 from one of their distributors.
