I wish I had the luxury of being able to just drop everything in life to come to Great Bend and race. But I work for a living, and travel quite often. This week I have to go to Boise, Idaho and can not be home in time to go to your track on Friday. But I plan on being in Wichita, @ KID Saturday so if you would like to come, that would be great! Bring both your trucks...

Well I sold my 77' as you probably know. All I have is my cammed 2003 gmc reg cab and it's nothing to brag about. Haven't even raced it yet. It's probably a mid 14 right now. I plan on some mods over the winter, perhaps a motor swap. The 5.3 is kind of lacking in the bottom rpm compared to my old 6.0. I've been looking at the new 6.2's The price's on them seem to be coming down. But My second choice is to buy another car (NOT LS Powered) and mod it. Still deciding on which way I want to go. We might make a trip to kid at the end of the year. I'll keep you posted on that.

All most race time.

6 psi on a soft pump gas tune.

10psi pump gas tune completed, and will probably throw a little race gas at it while at the dragstrip.

Appreciate it guys! Hopefully she runs decent, but time will tell.

Track opens up on Sat. the 10th. Plan is 10psi on race gas at the moment, however I intend on a 15 psi run as well. Car is 3120 lbs less driver. It has a very low and tame stall though, so not leaving on boost is going to leave a lot on the table E/T wise no doudt, should carry some good MPH tho.
