i run the same springs, i have shifted at 7500, steady shift points at 7200 on a stock short block 6.0 go by your dyno sheet, theres no need to shift any higher since theres no hp beyond your peak power .. basically i didnt see any difference from shifting from 7k or 73-75 k

im just trying to keep the truck pulling bc i have a crappy 3rd gear. i guess i need to justify spending 3k on the intake/exhaust system...but i just cant.

holy poop! lol. imma just stick with 7200 max! unless the new intake/exhaust proves that i can spin higher. im happy with the way the truck runs now, so hopefully ill see 12.7 with it as it sits. if not then we'll look into something to make it faster

I spin my 5.3 to 6800-7000, befor APR bolts. shifts at 6600. now I am not scared to spin to 7500 if it needs it. I see alot of ls2 rod bearing failures due to rod bolt stretch.

I wouldnt spin past 6800 with the stock rod bolts. Iv spun a rod and a main in to different builds using factory rod bolts. safe to say i'v learned my lesson. The valvetrain is deffinetly good for it though.
