If you wanna spend money a sure way to would be turbo or supercharger. I have a JOE GIBBS EXT cab. 5.3 by the way.With 3.2" pulley, K&N intake, and a custom tune. Hit 398RWHP at the dyno. After a nice cam, headers and some springs I should be well over 400. Haven't ran it yet. Been busy and ive owned it for bout 2 months but I'll get there yet.

its not going to happen,,,, best to do is go ahead and get a 6.0, with the money that you are going to spend on some nice heads for the 5.3 you can get a 6.0 and will have more power too... just my .02
