Well that works for me..saving money and got to love it. If it wasn't for this site and all of you guys I would have invested a thousand bucks and not had what is good. I also plan on making a thread not only for the actual build of the engine but the entire truck. I can shoot you a message when I get that rolling. Might still be a month or so.

So because of all this new information I am going to go ahead and do...

4.8 Block
4.8 Pistons
5.3 Crank
4.8 Heads shaved and "maybe" a small port job or at LEAST clean them up. Shouldn't hurt to much bottom end I hope.
LS1 Lifters
Roller Rockers

Anything else I am missing that should be upgrading while I am in there?

My last question....for now, will the stock injectors work or should I do an upgrade on them? I don't know if 4.8/5.3 are different are I didn't find any information.
