hi im abiel owner of the tombstone the 07 silverado hitting 13.3,i was wondering what cam should i get for this new project,i will appreciate it,on my other truck that i used to have an 04 silverado with a 220/581/112 lsa and it worked well

 

go with a 228 from thunder racing its really a good cam for a trucks the cam is the same i dont think there is any modifications on the internal engine i know there some people that say that these new engines are ls2 base but i dont think that is true because the ls2 base engine is 6.0 all aluminum engine not a 5.3 engine but if you dont think that the cam should work give thunder racing a call and they will tell you what will work if you dont have your tuner right there with you after the install the cam some needs to tune it because those new trucks have alot of crapthat governs the truck so tuner needs to be present after install

 

just got off the phone with thunder racing and the tech from thunder racing said that with your mods the best cam was tr220 and any cam from ls1 & ls2 & ls6 are the same cams who ever told you that the cam was diffrent is an idiot qoute from the tech at thunder racing

 

humm wonder why the 220?

 

220 is a great cam for the 5.3.

 

what kind of 60' times are you pulling?
