head work......
#1
I pulled the motor out of my truck...I had a piston ringland failure, I was being stupid with the truck and I knew it was risky but anyways, I pulled the motor and slapped a piston in it, filed all my top rings to about .028 and slapped an ls6 cam in it, now to the heads, I am having a local guy do my heads he has a got all new equipment and that includes a flow bench,He is normally a diesel guy and he is going to have out the first aftermarket performance head for the duramax and brodix is supposedly casting them, he is doing a full cnc port and polish on my heads as well as a competition valve job, once I get some flow numbers and get the heads back I will post some pictures, I am expecting at LEAST 300cfm at .550-.600, this will be his first LS head job so we will see what I end up with
