Oops 317s? If for boost or turbo yes. If not dont misspend money and go with 243s or 799s for added compression resulting in more torque and hp.

Yes 317s lol. It will be boosted. I also have a set of 243s but those are going on another motor.

IMO, don't worry about porting the 317s. Put that money towards the fuel system, drivetrain, or good turbo parts (no chinese bullshit). 317s flow pretty good in stock form. Boost takes care of the rest.

I kind of agree with this... head porting is really only necessary when you're going for a bit of a 'max effort' build when boost is involved. Don't get me wrong, you WILL make more power with ported heads, but that money can be spent elsewhere for the time being to produce more power.
