Default Head and Cam Swap

I am fixing to swap out the heads, cam, and intake on my 5.3 with everything from a 2002 Z06 corvette. I was wondering I have seen people swaping pushrods, springs, rockers, etc.? Do I need to do this for it to run right? Ir can I just use everything off my old 5.3 heads?

Wont the head swap cause a drop in compression, loss of low end? Valve size different?

That makes more sense!
Although you don't need to drop compression unless you want to run high boost. I am going S/C with 9.9-1 CR with 7-8lbs next week.

Are you getting fully assembled LS6 heads? If they are, use their springs and valves, and get some hardended 7.4" pushrods.

Then you are good to go. Use the rockers that come off your stock heads. They're the same as the stock LS6 rockers.

The stock ones will work, but I think you're better off getting a set of aftermarket hardended ones. There only ~110 new, but you could probably find a set in the 70-80 range used.
