what the difference in head bolts in 2004 down and 2005 and up ?how many long and short?

 

97-03:
5: M8 x 1.25 x 45
2: M11 x 2 x 100
8: M11 x 2 x 155

04+:
5: M8 1.25 x 45
10: M11 x 2 100

...per head of course

 

so why is head bolt longer is its because of heads have more shoulder or the threads in the block .trying to figure what year engine before buying bolts .heads are 317 casting.bought engine as 05 6.0 .but want to be sure

 

block threads are deeper on pre-04 blocks.
