Default Head bolt torque specs: Iron block vs Alum..

Are the head bolt torque specs the same on an 07 LQ4 as they are on the LS1's? Or for that matter, an LS2? I can find torque specs on both of those but not on an LQ4! Oh and yes, i do have all short bolts. If someone could give of those specs, that would help alot! I want to put my engine together tonight. THANKS!

With Factory TTY bolts or ARP's???

Factory TTY Should be as follows for Iron Block

For 04 and Later
Step 1 all M11 Bolts 22 FtLbs
Step 2 Rotate M11 Bolts 90* of twist
Step 3 Rotate M11 Bolts 70* of twist
Step 4 The 5 M8 Bolts 22FtLbs working from center bolt out ward.

For 99-03
Step 1 all M11 Bolts 22 FtLbs
Step 2 Rotate M11 Bolts 90* of twist
Step 3 Rotate ONLY the 8 long M11 Bolts 90* of twist
The 2 shorter M11 Bolts 50* of twist
Step 4 The 5 M8 Bolts 22FtLbs working from center bolt out ward

The short M11 Bolts are located at the front and rear ends of the center row of bolts. This is in the rocker arm valley area

Those numbers are correct but there is also a sequence you have to follow as far as torquing the bolts in order. Look on ls1howto.com on heads and Cam swap and it'll give you the pattern
