Hardened Pushrods?

Are hardened pushrods highly recommended with a TR224 .563 112 cam or will stock be fine? It's going in a 2001 Silverado, 5.3L w/ comp 915s or 918s. Also stock length is 7.4, right?

i believe Stocks are a little longer hmm cant remember.

Stock is 7.4", at least thats what i was told.

7.40" is indeed the stock length for pushrods. Comp Cams #7638-16 pushrods work really well and cost $90.00 per set.

Thanks for all the help. But, where do you find Comp Push Rods for $90? There $110 on Summit.

i would not change unless u have to i ran for years with stock pr and the only reason i change was i mess up my first 6l because i have guides now. i have turn a stock pr to 7400 rpm and never had problems
