Glad you like the cam...the specs look great for a 402.

Regarding the exhaust, in my experience the more free flowing the better. I'm not a big fan of lots of exhaust pipe. More pipe = more restriction regardless of the diameter.

very true AP, but i know my truck, and with the cut outs on the street it just felt boggish if thats a word lol!!!! was a big difference and it didnt seem fast moreless slower

The cutouts were before the exhaust merged I'm guessing? If that's the case, that was probably your problem. Merging the left and right exhaust banks is quite beneficial.
