ok so i found a 2002 6.0 complete with 14,000 miles for 500 bucks..guy had it pulled for a small ticking sound..so what should i do with this motor?? im going to be stickin my tr 224 cam in it..what would the 241 heads do to the compression ratio on this?? whats the best way to pull the motor on this?? what tranny issues would i have?

241 heads will bring up around 10.5:1 depending on your gaskets and yes, they'll work and deliver more torque. I say bolt that 6.0 right up to your 4L60 'cuz if it ain't broke, don't fix it. The ticking could be anything from an injector to a lifter. For $500, I'd swap in the cam and pushrods you own and get 'er running.
