Those CEA 76/75 are some great turbos! I'd take $3000-$3,500 and build me a forged 370ci!
I figured the GM warranty is more of a marketing hype. It sounds good in theory but when push comes to shove, GM will find a way out.

Your single 7675 will be small even for a 376, better off with a 370 or even a 5.7 for that turbo

Lsx376 is a bad **** with some upgrades done to it...cam swap, head studs and valve springs...the b15 does use l92 heads, it has 6bolt lsx ported heads
I know the 427 owner really well and he is one of the most meticulous hot rodders that I know. He helped build the tube chassis car that I'm building for Drag Week. However, I would speak with him and his engine builder before pulling the trigger.

Hot Rod magazine has a LSX-B15 they have been testing with a PT7675 GT42 style. It made over 1000hp - not sure the exact boost level or specs.

I'm fine with peaking a little early as long as it would still perform. Sure, there's always room for improvement and that's where a new turbo setup would come into play down the road. But at least I would have an engine that would handle big power when I'm ready for it.

Very true. It would be doing good to get 700-800rwhp.

Makes me wish HotRod Mag would stick a larger T6 turbo on their LSX test mule.

Well I pulled the trigger today on the LSX 427. There is a little bit of rust on the crank journal but for the money I couldn't complain. I spoke to the machinist who originally assembled the engine and he said that he may be able to polish it off. Taking everything to him tomorrow so he can clean up and reassemble engine. Specs on engine below.

GM LSX Block
Lunati 4340 Pro Signature Series Crank
Lunati 4340 Pro Billet Rods
Forged Wiseco 9.5:1 Pistons
Hellfire Rings
Bare Block Completion Kit
Modified L92 Heads with 6 Bolt
Cometic Multi Layer Head Gasket
Lunati Hyd Roller Cam
Lunati Hyd Roller Lifters
GM intake carb style with injector capability
LS Oil Pan
Internal Oil Pump (blueprinted and ported)
LS-7 Rocker Arm Set
ATI balancer

Ls7 rocker arms and l92 heads dont go together
Also gonna be leaving alot on table with those small heads on those cubes

Also whatever pistons youre using make sure they are setup for heads/valves used

Also whatever cam you chose make sure its compatiable with 1.8 rockers
Make sure valve springs can handle the new lift

Curious about the heads also...they just weld on tabs for the bottom bolt for the 6bolt block? All that seems like a good set of aftermarket 6 bolt heads would be better.

Thanks for the heads up about LS7 rockers. I'm going to research the cam specs a little closer. I know it came as a complete kit from Lanuti with cam, lifters, retainers, valve springs, and timing chain. The only missing component from the engine are pushrods.

The extra bolt holes are welded on. Never seen it done this way but it looks really clean. I'm sure there are better heads currently on the market but this is what I'm working with now unless I switch back to my 317s and Holley Hi-ram. I'm sure down the road I will upgrade to better heads. But at least it came with ARP studs.

What is being done for the other holes for head bolts that bolt in the lifter areas

Going to a 1.8 gained me .036 of lift...lucky my new heads had 700 lift springs

I have head studs for entire motor not just the 6th bolt.

I'll probably just go to 1.7 rocker arm to keep things simple unless springs can handle it.
