I'm not sold on reusing TTYs yet but I guess it all comes back to budget.

So if they were considering selling them and wanted to test prior how does it make them partial? They don't make head studs, I cant see how they have a dog in the fight. I am not sure I follow you.

i used to build sbc and bbc and ls motors back in the late 200xs and experimented with some sets of the ebay studs and didnt like them. i had one break an hour or two after install and go shooting across the shop.
lately though ive tried them again and they seem fine. i have had them in my turbo 4.8 for a couple years now. i plan to use them again.

I ordered a set of the ***** slop studs and planned to use them. They came in a chinked out unmarked box and you could just tell they were questionable, they had a more brittle texture to them. I don't doubt MANY guys are using them successfully and I love Chinese parts. Hell, all the Aeromotive pumps are straight off the boat. But I like to put a value on peace of mind. I ended up returning them and using ARPs. When I ordered my ***** studs in 2014 they didn't have the Allen head to thread them into the block like the ARPs do, not sure if they've changed them since.

Same here. If I remember correctly I ordered my Procomps from Skip White Performance for an old SBC. They came in a typical Procomp box and had the Allen in the middle like ARPs. Worked well for me and will buy again.
