East Coast engine builders?

All I hear about on here are all the great engine builders in California and I was wondering if there are an reputable builders here on the East Coast for those of us that don't want to have to deal with shipping motors across the country! :bang:

Maybe we don't exactly have a view of the Atlantic, but there's a lotta talent up here with faster shipping than from, say, southern calif. Eastern time zone still anyway...

Got any more info on these two? I noticed from your sig that you had a 370/122 combo built, installed and tuned by Slowhawk. How's that working out for you?

No doubt about that, my man, a WHOLE lot of talent but he stated he was asking because he doesn't want to ship the motor. Halfway across the country isn't that much different than the entire way across. It was just a joke anyway. :eyes:

Carolina Auto Masters will do an engine...they are in Durham, NC. They won an episode of Pinks with an f-car.

R.P.M. in Garner, NC does engines as well. They set two world records at the LSX Shootout this year with a Trailblazer and a Camaro.

I personally know customers of both shops, and they both do fantastic work. Just cruise by their websites.

Call Slowhawk. He doesn't build motors, but he will build you an entire setup around a motor that he would bring in. And I can attest that he knows how to put a setup together.

Are any of the shops mentioned capable of doing a 5.3 to 5.7 conversion?
