Default eagle stroker 5.3

i just got a 02' silverado 5.3 2wd and was thinking of doing an eagle 383 stroker kit on it and was wondering if anyone has done it or has heard anything about it. and can you fit a FAST LSX intake on a 5.3 block.

plan to get LS6 heads milled down to 72CC, 1.8 roller rockers (dont know if i will have to fly cut the pistons or not), LS1 hotcam, and a new intake(fast lsx 78mm if it is even possible to fit on the block) and throllte body. 2800 stall conv, nelson tune, and 3.73 gears and maybe an sts turbo down the line.

i have to keep this engine california smog legal and everyone knows how strict they are. so i cant do an engine swap.

If you want more lift why not just use a bigger cam?

Also on the compression I would adjust that with pistons since your gonna have it dissasembled, would help avoid issues with p/v and quench I would call eagle see what they say about it.

I would think the fast intake would be a direct bolt, good choice.

Ive been interested in the 5.3 stroker kits and havent heard of anyone using them definately sounds interesting.
