Default Driveshaft questions/options.

What's up guys, i'm out here trying to get some good info on some good strong and reliable driveshafts. Had my 2001 silverado rcsb on the dyno this past december and on the first pull it snapped the driveshaft which led to twisting the housing on the transmission breaking it into pieces and also tearing off the ears on the block... very sad to watch but yeah, i'm assuming the damn driveshaft was either thin wall or not balanced properly but surely did not last with the power the truck was pulling . LS3 with full bolton's, stage 3 cam built rear end and 4l80e trans with a custom driveshaft. Was probably doin 130mph on 4th gear at about mid 400s hp . If y'all know of any badass well balanced and strong driveshafts for RCSB 4l80 equipes truck, shoot me a reply any feedback would be accepted.

Ouch.

Been there myself once in a c10.

Your best bet is to have one custom made. Any reputable local shop should be able to do it.

Oh that sucks.

I have a PST, but can't say what it does at 130.

After seeing this, I will be building a loop.

Yep, tried looking into some but haven't found enough info to actually pull the trigger and buy one, still looking out for a sustainable one.
