2005 Silverado LM7 5.3 to LY6 6.0, Need to confirm this will work. I'm using the 5.3 oil pan and pickup tube. Is the 5.3 oil pump sufficient enough? Also, is the red pickup tube seal the correct seal? Thanks.

 

One is a gen 3 and one a gen 4. There is more to that swap than you think. You're better off picking up an LQ4

They have sensors in different locations which is the least of your worries. The ly6 also has a 58x reluctor vs your 24x
