I have heard that adding a carb and intake to a 5.3 will add 100 hp anyone know what it will do to a 6.2

adding a carb to a 6.2 will add about 150 but make sure to grease the muffler bearings because they get worn out from all the power added

i'd run dual four barrels personally. why settle for just one carb? go big or go home...seriously though no, just no.

lol, gotta check the blinker fluid too while your at it, with all the added torque you are liable to have a leak somewhere.

Don't listen to these guys their just messing with, and I don't know who
Told you that about the carb and 6.2 making a lot of power. Ask any racer, any real racer and they'll tell you that only a carb on a 4.8 is possible of adding 100 hp extra.

But one thing to consider is that your going to have to run LEADED fuel for now on...
