if you are going big you will need valve springs, torque converter and a good tune

I would like to increase performance as much as I can without losing the drive ability of my truck.

That still gives very little to work with.

What's your budget?

Do you want to run a stall?

Do you value the life of the stock weak 4L60e transmission?

If the answer is a smaller budget then go with a 212/218 cam, upgraded valve springs, a set of headers and a good tune. I'd upgrade injectors if the truck is a non flex fuel truck. The small 25hr/lb injectors are pushing it most of the time on cam swaps. Then pray the transmission holds for a long time and that the stock G80 rear diff keeps on keeping on.

My budget is pretty substantial, the transmission has been recently rebuilt but the truck has high miles the important thing to me is that the truck keeps the nice things I like about driving it I want all the gauges to still work properly I figured I would need a stall so changing the converter is not an issue I was already planning on changing the gears in the front and rear. Does the front and rear differential need to be changed and can you build the transmission or does that have to be changed too.
