I was thinking 216/228 113+2

Actually my old 215/227 may work well in that.

Damn, i wish id have asked this question 2.5-3 years ago.... While i was gathering parts for the engine, thought i had done enough research.... so anyway, i would like tad more lope than i have now but nowhere near what i want for my camaro(when/if i ever get that far), but if its gonna take away from my usable torque/horsepower idle similar to what i have now is fine...

Im thinking again, how well would the cam i have work in my 08 yukon with dod/vvt delete??? Or in my buddy's 06 cc 5.3?? Just tryin think of ways to get or save myself some money, in the long run... Although i kinda want to have a smoother idle in yukon, close to stock just more hp/tq...

If going 35s you are going to want more gear than a 4.10. 4.56s will be much more friendly with a cam. For a DD I'm gonna thow out my 2 cents to the GM ASA cam. 226/236 duration, 0.525/0.525 lift, and a 110 LSA. Had it in my built 5.3 with a set of Trick Flow Heads, and it's supper DD Friendly with a really fat torque curve. It was over 300lbs of torque at the tires from 3,000-6,000 rpms peaking at 338lbs at 4,200 rpms. Peak HP was 336rwhp at 6,000 rpms and I was shifting at 6,400. These SUVs are heavy and I think you would like it a lot in your 6.0.

If/when i have gear issues again, im goin 4.56 or 4.88, ina 9.5sf, but im thinking about goin to a shorter tire anyway trying to save some weight! With setup ive got now im about the same hp/tq youre talking about, but at something like 5300rpm, i need look at my dyno sheet closer and see where i get over 300tq but theres something goin on with it, because theres almost like a hiccup in the curve. im assuming is 1-2 shift with the old converter.... Ill see if i can get my scanner to work and try to post it...
