A cam with a tune will get you anywhere from 30hp up. Some have seen as much as 70hp! Brand? Just talk with the sponsors here on the right, they'll set you up with what you need. A lot of the guys on the board here can also help. What are you looking to get out of a cam? Low end torque, midrange, top end?

most brands are great. you just need to decide on which size you want. depending on the size cam you may need to do a custom tune and upgrade to a bigger stall in order to be in the cam's powerband. check out the million threads on here about cams and do your research. you could easily gain 20 horse with a good cam setup.

I highly recommend a tune with any cam you get, no matter how mild or wild. If money is tight, I'd suggest buying a used cam in the classified section and that'll free up a little money for a tune.
