Default cam now turbo later?

i been lookin to due a cam swap now, and boost it later. i found two cams that look like winners here they are the first is from thunder racing-227/224 .569/.563 114 or texas-speed 224/224 .581/.581 114
but i may also go n20 and heads, and some longtubes

more info on truck? DD? what size stall if any? gears? do you tow?

A good all motor cam and trubo cam, in these trucks a reverse split N/A setup has shown to be good. WILL not be a good nitrous cam.

well the truck is my dd for now, lookin to get a maybe the yank 3000, depends on the future plans, 3.42 gear. and hp tuners. no towing in its future. iam just lookin for something to tide me over until i save for the turbo.

212/218 hi lift comp cam is one choice that will do you good.

Maybe step it up just a little and go to a 216/220 with that size converter. I would deff not do the cam without atleast a 3000 converter.
