Default cam i found???

found this cam really cheap. its a comp cams Camshaft.
i was wondering if it would be good with a blower setup. runnin a procharger on 10psi heads untouched but will be building them up soon.

here is the grind

LS1 3710R 3715R HR 114+2

Duration .050 Intake 214

Duration .050 Exhaust 224

Lift Intake 559

Lift Exhaust 567

would this work for my application. and what supporting things would i need. i am sure springs, pushrods and so on. also thinking of some 317 heads.

any input would be great.

gotta be a 5.7-6.0 if he is thinking of running 317s bc a 4.8/5.3 normally wouldnt use those heads, unless he wants to try some something....

thats a pretty big split for a motor not using L92/LS3/LS7 heads. i think the thing you need to do IF you are wanting to go with a cam....do it once, not a million times. spend the little cash on a spec'd cam and be done with it. get with Pat G or Geoff on here and tell them what you have, what you want. they can hook you up

clean truck in your sig for sure.

That cam would work fine, you want a 10-12 exhaust bias with a procharger and its 10. Could there be other better cams-yes but that would work just fine. What size motor?

I am running a 11 degree bias specd by patg that works nice with my TVS

yeah thats cool its a 5.3L i was just wondering because i can ****** this cam for about 30 bucks if i want it. lots of people tell me the ls6 cam is pretty straight for blown truck.

i know absolutely nothing about cams and i am not even gonna attempt to fake it.

I would find out for sure... most good used cams are around $150 at the cheapest... there's been more than one motor death due to reground cams.

Not trying to **** in your cherrios, I just really don't want to see you post a thread in 5 months with bunch of metal in your oil pan, chewed up lifters, or some other damage due to a cheap regrind cam.
