After install is their a break in period ?

I just put the springs through a heat cycle at idle once then let it rip.

 

With the LS engines, you see people run them hard asap after the cam is installed. Some people also wait a day or so and then change the oil (or shortly after the cam install) then drives it normally like you would day to day.
