have currently have a 224/232 581/596 114 lsa. I hate this cam i doesnt make no power till 4100 rpm in a 5.3. current parts on the truck long tubes,intake,4.10 gear 3600 converter. I see alot of people running the 224 cam im asking what a good choice in a good cam that makes bad power all around.

 

I hear nothing but good things about the EPS cams but that's only hear say cause I've never run one. I run a comp lsr cam (219/227 .607/.614 112lsa) in my 4.8 and love it. It makes awesome power all across the board and I haven't even retuned yet from the previous tune on the tr220. Just my .02 cents..

 

I think the cam you have now would be pretty nice if it were on a 111-112lsa

My favorite cam I ever had in my 5.3 was a lunati 232/236 .595/.601 112lsa. Made gobs of power everywhere
