I'm not sying you'll need all that, just saying they have a ton more TBI parts than I ever found anywhere else. Try the cam and regulator, see how it runs, then getcha some heads!

oh okay, i was about to say, damn, i already spent a **** load on the cam and the necessary parts lol but i was planning on doing the regulator, but i didnt know which one, but ill check it out, but will i still need a tune? i dont really have that money right now

ok man, well i think i will eventually get one, but right now money is hard to come by, i just had a new baby girl lol so im trying to work everything out between everything, but ill check out the sponsors. thanks for the help.

Yep...it will run but it will be horrible. The MAP sensor on the TBI engine is very sensitive to change and once you exceed about a 210 duration on a cam then you will need extensive tuning for it to run right. Will it run yes...but it will be boggy, sluggish, and your mpg will certainly decrease. So, be perpared to either burn chips yourself or mail order a tune and datalog the information and then send the chip back for a retune. Just because a cam is computer compatible doesn't mean that the tune will be fine. It just means that EFI electronics can withstand it....more so for a TPI than a TBI. My 383 with cop car injectors liked 13.5 psi.

You might want to try PCMforless...they are a sponsor. Other than that...TBIchips.com is another good source for TBI chips as well as Turbo City.

ok well ill prolly just save up some money and take it to a dyno, after i get some more **** done to it. but thanks for all the help guys
