Default Cam?

Wanting to put a cam in my buddies 05 5.3. Wanting a nice lope and it run like hell but still be streetable enough to drive everyday. He already has full bolton's and 3:73's with 26 inch tall tires. 2 inch drop in front and 4 inch drop in the rear. he will be running a 3000 stall. Would like to know what you guys would suggest..

220/220 will be a great cam if you ask me.

same here. A 224/224 would also work.

I think a 220/220 112 would work great with that converter too.

the 220 would be a little "friendlier" cam but the 224 would be bad *** too if he could deal with a little higher power band... It really comes down to how he wants the driveability to be. the 3000 stall would be enough for either I think.

The 3k stall would be plenty enough. I drive mine everyday and in the city i get 13 on the hwy 19. Mine is a little bit bigger than the tr224. With the gears and stall the FMS F4-114 would work great but every truck varies in performance.
