Default Btr stage 2 truck cam be enough?

Originally i had a 4.8 around and i ordered the btr stage 2 low lift cam but recently i scored on a lq4 and my concern now is of its enough cam. My plans are 799 heads down the road and full bolt ons. I have a trailblazer converter i bought new for 114 bucks so any cam suggestions if I should change would be somewhat nice to utilize that.

I have the highlift version of that cam in the LQ4 in my Tahoe. It has great low and mid range and doesn't feel like it falls off much up to 6500rpm. It also has a nice mild idle.

To say if it's to enough cam really depends o nv what you want. Is it a Daily driver or weekend racer?

I can't comment on cam suggestions that work well with that converter because all my trucks are stick. However I think you might want to step up the cam just a tad if your wanting the full hotrod experience.

Thats kinda where im at with it really. Buddys got a 5.3 swapped mustang with a sloppy stage 2 and it screams but definitely is lacking torque.

I'd run that cam, it'll still make good power on a 6.0.

If the LQ4 has stock exhaust, injectors and factory air box the BTR 2 will be a good combination. If you already have headers free flowing exhaust and a CAI I'd probably sell (or return) the stage 2 and find something bigger. You will need injectors at some point as the factory injectors on a stock 6L are almost maxed out.

What year truck is the LQ4 going in? I'm running 50 lb/hr flex fuel injectors from a 2010 Silverado on my LQ9. They are pretty cheap around a $100 and they need a set of adapter harness (Multec II to EV6) if you have the older style Multec II injectors. Injector part number is 12613412.
