all you have to do is... make sure you clean off all the residue off the cam first. then coat it with some mobil one oil (in your case) and stick her right in being careful not to nick the cam bearings. mobil one should be fine to break it in, or just go ahead and put some regular oil b/c it will need to be changed after a 100 miles on the cam.

NO reall break in on the cam I would start it up let it idle for about 10 minutes so the idle relearns good may have to restart it a few times. Then take it out and run it through the gears say to 4K each gear a couple of times then hammer the **** out of it. Main thing is the new springs that you get. You will need 918s or the ever popular LS6 springs but break in procedure on that is 2-4 heat cycles before oyu beat on it. Also after you go have fun with the new cam for alittle bit come back and change the oil cause there is alot of chances for oil contamination.

Break in depends on the springs you are gonna use. If you use Comp 918's you DAM well better heat cycle them. Or youll be very sorry you didnt!!!!!!!!!!!!

Other than that. No break in on hyd-roller cams.
