I bought the GT2-3 cam today for my truck and I am going to run the ls6 springs with it. I will install it by the end of next week and just be waiting on my tranny and converter to come back from FLT. I would like to thank Brian from JPA for the help and answering my questions today! I can't wait to get the truck back on the road. It'll be like a new truck to me. I'll have installed a new tranny, stepped up the stall to a 2800-3000rpm, installed the GT2-3 cam with springs, lowered it 2/4, put on the 22" Stingrays and a roll pan all since the last time I drove it.

 

It sounds like she is going to be a lot of fun when you get her up running again. Plus with the 22's the rollpan and lowering it she is going to look and feel like a new truck to you..
Keep up the great work on her and you will have one sweet a$$ ride..

Are you going to keep a mail order tune or ?

 

Man that has got to be exciting!!! If I am ever going through southern Maine and see either of you, believe me I will recongize yah!!! Good luck with the cam swap.

 

I will for now, but want to have Dez Racing tune it for me on there dyno.

 

From what I have been reading you might one to think about getting a set of Hardened push rods at the same time.. Or maybe even two sets and get them here for the middle of next week..
