what are you flashing at out of the hole tim?
(never mind i just read that you don't flash the converter)
have you ever tried flashing the converter on the street in 4HI. i'm curious what it would flash at?

Mine always came out harder by flashing the converter too. I would give that a shot next time you go to the track.
They also usually run small cams like ls6 cams and gt2-3 cams, not a bigger cam like you have. Your probably not making the torque as soon as most of those guys.

I am going to stand by my thoughts as well. I do see what some are saying about the gears and 80e combo but I wouldnt mess with that at this point seeing how you use the truck. I also wouldn't go crazy on the stall either. If you keep the intake duration in the upper teens on the cam your lowend should be better then it is now. Want a happy medium then go for like a 218/230 on a 115. You'll get a slight chop. Do like I said Tim and see what PatG suggests.

I'd think that increasing the exhaust duration to help evacuate the cylinders would definitely be beneficial considering your TVS1900. As mentioned above, you don't need to go crazy on the duration considering the boost, and I personally like the idea of 218 to 220 on the intake, and say 226 to 228 on the exhaust (as in 218/226 or 220/228). If you went with XER lobes, you'd be checking in right around or just under .600 lift, and have it ground on somewhere between 114 to 116 LSA. Couple either one of those with a 2800 converter and I feel that you'd have a nice combo...just my .02

I am running a Comp 224 224 581 581 on a 112 lsa.. My heads are just mildly done( infinite angle valve job, some very slight porting.. I think that you would def beni from a bigger converter also.. Thats alot of truck, to get moving.. So better 60's means better 1/4 for the most part.. I am by no means a cam expert, but unless you get another cam on possible a different lobe, I can not see that much hp being had by just a change in the LSA, since the blower is blowing fuel/ air into the cylinders.. I see that all the cam's PAT G spec's are pretty big on both the lift, duration, then you have guys like stock48 running a smaller cam, getting excellent numbers, so is bigger isn't always better.. If the tight lsa is blowing boost out the pipes, turn the boost up

Guys this has been a kick *** thread, all the different theorys and ideas all make sence and have got me thinking, Thanks for the great discussion!
Im gonna do a cam swap first and see what improvement i might gain from a better spec blower cam.
Then im gonna up the boost and add meth and see where she goes from there.
