Roger, Thanks for remembering my thread and keeping me on track LOL!

I will be buttoning up the swap tomorrow, have to buy a new serp belt and install radiator and buy some waterwetter for the rad and the HEX resivior.

Ive been working crazy hours this last week as well as today, and will be busy as *** mon-thurs, plus with the heat im whooped at the end of the day, so yes ive been slacking on the install LOL.

Sweet!

I know i will beat him.................

Out of the hole that is! TJ's truck is damn fast, it would be a fun race,he'd beat me i bet.

But if he's driving the TBSS AWD with the 2300 on it it will be damn close outta the hole!!!

Update.

She is altogether and running!

Just buttoned her up an hour ago. Took some extra time cleaning up the wiring and hoses . Also painted my valve covers and front cover, looks better now. Also painted the alternator/power steering bracket as it was a dirty eyesore.

Fired right up after sitting apart for two weeks haha.
Idles awesome, has some chop and damn near sounds like my old cam if not exactley the same.

Revving it up to bout 3500 or so just sounds and feels much cleaner/powerful.

Didnt drive it yet, that will be tomorrow after work, Just let it idle for about 25 min to make sure all was well and get my radiator level close to full.

Im excited to see and feel how the cam and extra boost from the IW pulley do to the truck.

I will get an idle clip up tomorrow after work.

I have almost this exact cam in my vette. Just with 1.5 degrees more LSA. On an LS3, it helped make 650+rwhp under a TVS2300 with 8.5psi. I have a little smaller version in my truck 215/227 116lsa with the same LSL lobes. Your lift on the exhaust side with a 231 LSL lobe is .617. I'm guessing you're going to like it

Agree with the other guys about the need for cylinder head upgrades. Boost goes down, heat goes down, and power goes up. All good.
