big cam for the street?

That all depends on what makes an acceptable daily driver for you. I personally wouldn't go any bigger than what you already have. There are other area's to improve on without going more camshaft. If you do go bigger try not to go much bigger or you're not going to be happy with only a 3200 stall. I'd look into a Fast intake or some 1 7/8" headers first. That cam you have with those heads is fine. More cam with a stock truck intake isn't going to gain you much.
I'd love to say that I'm not influenced by the rumble at idle and that I'm perfectly immune to the draw of a funny car cam on the street, but I'm not. At the end of the day, however, Zip's giving you good advice here.
The cam you have is close enough to 230s not to matter.

thanks for all the help. i talked to ryan at RPM today and he said that the truck intake will be just fine. and i would not see a big gane out of it. the TBSS went in the 9s with a truck intake and if i ever go that far with it ill let you know.
by the way i just got back from RPM and the truck made 393hp 392tq. and 586hp 702TQ on the gas, going to get a little more soon!
