They're $1600 shipped. Not bad if you didn't have to buy a rocker shim kit or roller rockers. The shim kits are even a couple hundred dollars after shipping

wow I must have got a good deal because I paid 2050 shipped for my cnc'd 225's with valves just not assembled
But yes you would definatly need rockers so scratch that idea

A cam swap is certain a lot cheaper than a set of CNCed heads, but if you have the money Darrell Russell's dad Burnell told me years ago before Darrell started driving TF for Joe Amato that "It's in the heads". I still believe that. Remember an engine is an air pump and a chain is only as strong as its' weakest link. That means if you put a set of heads that flow big numbers and your cam, intake and CAI can't keep up your engine is having an asthma attack. It's trying to suck in more air, but there is a restriction somewhere. Keep this in mind and do some baseline checks before you make major changes. You need to check VE, Calculated Load, MAF and STFTs at WOT just before the 1/2 shift. Your VE needs to be at least 80% for N/A and 100% for F/I. Once you make your changes do another log and compare the new values to your baseline numbers.
