Default bent push rods!

my buddy has an 00 chevy with a 5.3 and had his engine rebuilt and put a 212-216 581lift cam in with the 918 springs. he ran the stock push rods and ended bending every one. is this to much lift for stock rods or do we have other problems?

Call one of the sponsors with your cam specs and they can hook you up with hardened pushrods of the proper length.

thats what the plan is. we were just a little worried there might other problems. i didn't know how much the stock one would handel. i guess we will put harder ones in and try it again.
