Any good 5.3 engine builders near Charlotte?
Looking for a good 5.3 engine builder near Charlotte, NC. Not looking for anything special, just factory specs with the typical mods to include forged pistons, better cam and springs, studs, 9.5:1 compression, etc.... for a boosted DD with around 600 hp at the crank.
If you know of anyone I want to add them to my list of stuff to think about.
Its either to have one rebuilt or get a reputable mild built short block and I throw in the other stuff and maybe do some light porting(just smoothing the ports). Not sure whats the best option for a reliable DD and price.

Check out PCM, they have done all my work and they know there stuff. They are usually pretty booked up but it is worth the wait. Talk to Kelly if she is in, 704-307-4227. And Alvin the tuner is very well known especially in the tbss world.
