Default any 4.8L help out there ?

I'm building a 66 C10 short box and im currently looking into cams, intakes, headers, stalls and gearing for my rear end. Any other guys out there with 4.8s that can help a brother out ??? Im looking specifically for some recommendations from your experience as you guys are the experts !!!

Im thinking of going with in my 4.8L (2003):
3200 stall
212/218 .522 .529 114 LSA Comp Cam
shorty headers (as I don't have much room between my frame)
Fast LSXR 102mm intake
3.73 rear end

What do you think ?

Thanks !!!

I wouldn't bother with the fast 102, that 4.8 isn't going to need that much air, I'd get a ls6 intake for much cheaper

You can go bigger on the cam, 90mm tb would be fine. 220/224 575/575 @112 runs very well in my 4.8.

Really need to know what your use and expectations are for the performance build.

Regardless what you go with skip the Fast intake manifold, if you go with anything it should be a NNBS or TBSS intake manifold. Even then I don't think its will be worth any noticeable gains a 4.8L mild build.

Agreed. The intake he has on it pulls good to 7000rpm on a 4.8.
